Measuring Rowing Power
Compact and easy to use, FlexOmega uses today’s technologies to enable modern, innovative monitoring in the sport of rowing. This system takes direct, accurate measurements at the exact point where all the athlete’s oar power is transferred, the oarlock. Measurements are accurate because the sensors are built into an aluminium sleeve and calibrated. Temperature fluctuations are also taken into account.
The iPhone is attached to the footrest. The sensors are activated with an electronic key. Recording starts, and the measurement begins.
At the end of the training session, the data is transmitted to the desired notebook or server for subsequent analysis using the appropriate program.
